Bean Museum

The kids and I were able to spend 10 days in Utah before Matt joined us. I thought that it would be fun to take the kids to a couple of places that I enjoyed as a kid. We called everyone and set out on a trip to the Monte L Bean Museum at BYU. The kids really enjoyed the museum. Josie and her kids happened to know the director of the museum, which was President Packer's son, and we were able to get a private tour of a few special rooms.
After the museum we headed over to the BYU Creamery. It is always crazy when we get all of the cousins together, but we were at BYU so I guess all those kids were not out of the norm!

This was in the special room the Bro.Packer took us into. Hundreds of birds that are not on display. This is a photo of a nest that was built out of barbed wire.

The boys loved this Kodiak Bear. It was over 8 feet tall!

Enjoying the ice cream and french fries at the Creamery.
