Party Time

Ever since I was a kid, I have loved going to my grandma and grandpa's Christmas party. There is always the same program, same food, and the same activities, but I love it. Due to the craziness of life, we have not been able to make it the past few years. This year my Grandma asked me months in advance and made sure that we would be in town. I really appreciated the fact that she wanted our family there, that she waited until we were in town. I loved growing up next door to my grandparents. I have a lot of childhood memories with them. I am grateful that my children will have memories with them as well.

Ava got to be Mary in the Nativity this year with Grant as Joseph

 Kambree and Brinlee as angles

Ava program

One of my favorite things about Kindergarten, is their Christmas Program. Ava was not sure that she wanted to participate, but she soon changed her mind. She did a great job and actually did not have a melt down when Santa entered the room!

Getting her bells from her teacher, Mrs. Cacioppo

Such a fun group of friends!

Happy Birthday Easton

Easton turned 11 on December 8th. According to him the best thing about turning 11 is that he is now done with Cub Scouts and can move onto "big boy" scouts. He is excited to be able to work on things with Austin and go on even more campouts! Easton is our go to kid. He is always the one to offer his help, to do things without complaining, and to try and defuse any situation that needs it. He fills our home with peace and love. I love him for this. I love him for his spirit, his desire to do right, and his lion-heart attitude.

He wanted trifle for his birthday "cake"

LOVING the hammock that Grandma Marsha made for him. He could not wait to try it out!
