Easter

My mom and Stephanie and Kambree were able to come and visit for our Spring Break. We had a lot of fun playing in the rain, watching the boys' football games, dying Easter eggs and hunting for eggs as well. We had to have the egg hunt in our friends house due to the crummy weather, but we still had fun!

We love having family come and visit and being able to spend time with them!

Baby Rabbit

Our friendly neighbor Ray called us the other day about a baby rabbit that he found in his yard. There was no mama rabbit around and he wanted to know if the kids wanted to take care of the rabbit. We decided to go look at it and see what was going on. It was the smallest rabbit I had ever seen. We took it home and called the pet store to see what we should do about it. They told us to go put it back and the mom would find it. The boys took it back and then went back to check about an hour later and it was gone. We are hoping that the mother found it and not the roaming dogs around here!

Oregon

We finally upgraded from our van to a new SUV and wanted to take a road trip to break her in. Luckily Matt's parents were on their way to Oregon to visit Grandpa Red, so we decided to join them.

We did a lot of:

Tree Climbing,

Frog Finding,

Morel Mushroom Hunting and Poison Oak Catching,

(that only took us 1 week, 6 office visits, 3 steroid shots and 2 weeks recovery time to figure that one out!)

Toy Store Shopping,

Bird Watching,

Wildflower Picking,

Hiking,

Tire Swinging,

And Family Fun!

Happy Birthday Ava

Our sweet baby girl turned 4 yesterday. She has been planning her birthday for months and has been counting down for weeks. She finally decided to go bowling and out to dinner at Johnny Rockets. We had a great time with her and are so grateful she is a part of our family!
